CDS6 & CDS7s

We have extensive experience in lodging CDS6 submissions.  We are able to customise the service we provide to fit with individual requirements of our clients.

This service includes preparation of the appropriate CDS11 claim for individual police station, investigation, prison law, or Magistrates’ Court matters together with a schedule summarising the costs and codes claimed on the CDS6.  We also offer online submission to the LSC, free of charge.

Our draftsmen are experienced in completing CDS7 forms and drafting enhancements when required.  Many solicitors, who may prepare their own CDS6s in-house, still prefer non-standard fee claims to be prepared by draftsmen due to the extra time needed to prepare the claims.

Crown Court & Court of Appeal

We utilise our knowledge and experience in dealing with Advocate Graduated Fee claims  to maximise costs claimable for solicitors under the new scheme.  We offer both the original LF1 claim and any subsequent LF2 claim when required.    

We have considerable experience in the preparation of Crown Court Advocate Graduated Fee claims.  We are also able to advise on the depleted fee rule and costs for work undertaken by substitute advocates to ensure that correct sums are remunerated to relevant parties.

In relation to Crown Court ex-post facto claims we have considerable experience in substantial and complex matters, including undertaking Serious Fraud Panel work and high profile murder cases.  Therefore we are able to deal with any substantial cases pre-dating the litigator fee scheme and any Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings matters which are still to be claimed on old-style ex-post facto claim forms.

We have gained experience in all areas of criminal costing and can therefore offer services in relation to Court of Appeal claims, Defendants Costs Orders/claims from Central Funds, Court Marshalls & Redeterminations and Appeals to Costs Judges.
